Disney just announced that effective January 9, 2024, all day park hopping will be back !
Ever since park hopping came back in 2021, it has been restricted to after 2pm, but starting in January, guests with a park hopper ticket or an annual pass will be able to park hop any time of day!
This is huge, huge, huge to me and will make Disney once again a relaxing, flexible vacation. No more planning dining around what park you’ve reserved for the day! You can eat breakfast in Epcot and then ride the monorail over to Magic Kingdom! You can walk through Epcot to the monorail and avoid buses to MK when staying at an Epcot resort!
Best announcement since the Covid reopening if you ask me. Now just bring back MK extended evening hours for the holiday season, and scrap the Cake Bake Shop at the Boardwalk and we are good to go (okay fine, also include some lightning lanes with resort stays 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻).
Also announced were price increases to annual passes, which I was apparently too excited to notice (well played Disney). The increases aren’t huge, but are still annoying. Sorcerers passes (the go-to DVC annual pass) are going up $30 to $999 for example.
